Shoe of the Day- Report shoe from Ginger Michelle, Macon, Ga

These are some of my favorite shoes, but they seem to be hard to pair up with clothing items. I first saw them while taking notes for a photo shoot for Macon Food and Culture Magazine (www.maconfood.com) with Sabrina Sikora (http://sspmodels.phanfare.com/sabrinasikoraphotography). Frankly, Sabrina’s styling of these shoes was genius but I did not have the money at the time to get those whole outfit. Plus, I really need to be able to wear shoes with multiple outfits. Anyways….

Today I paired these lovely Report shoes (from Ginger Michelle, Macon (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000010500973) with a Ralph Lauren button up shirt and teal green skinny jeans from fab’rik, Macon (http://www.facebook.com/fabrikmacon) and a scarf I got at Junior League Marketplace (http://www.jlmacon.org/). This might be a lil bit of either a small fail or an epic WIN. I’m a lil short and because of the way these shoes are cut, along with the length of the jean, I wasn’t able to get as smooth of an effect as I wish but I have come to realize that may just not happen so much for me.

Anyways- opinions please!!! Also if you are in the Macon area be sure to go to fab’rik’s Facebook page to check out the promotion- only lasts til the seventh of this month!

    Hey Molly,
Thanks for the love! Your take on them is great! You mentioned that the jean is a little thick to tuck in… Try rolling the jeans so that about an inch of your ankle shows between the shoe and jean. This would also be GORGEOUS with the same shoe and pant but a sheer floaty floral blouse for spring! Keep up the great blog and super cute posts!

Thanks Sabrina!!! And thank you for the tip too. That’s one of the things I LOVE about fashion- we are all here to learn from one another and to learn through experimentation. 🙂 I think a lot of people forget that and get intimidated and forget to try new thing.

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any points for newbie blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
