Yet Another “What To Wear” Dilemma: NYE

New Year’s Eve.

I have two dresses already, but yet I’m not so sure what to do. And I was perusing Page 6 Boutique via Instagram and saw all of these a-m-azing dresses that they recommended for NYE. I realized, there are all kinds of ways to go with NYE.

I had my mind set on a super sexy, slinky type of dress with sequins. I have had this one dress for several years, it’s a metallic v-neck knit dress. It’s loose right around my stomach area (yay- plus) but very tight right where it hits my thighs. And I could be a little more provocative if I forego certain undergarments- if you know what I mean (and I know you do).

Then there is the dress that I found, of all places, on Amazon.com: it’s short, sequined, black and has a slight bustier to it.

It arrived in the mail and I do love it- although it is a bit tight on me. But then I saw those dresses from Page 6- and I got to thinking… fab’rik has some super cute dresses too. I even remembered the short mini skirt I got from fab’rik last week that I finally found a cute shirt to go with it. I could even put these leather-like leggings on underneath. OR sequined shorts also. But I kind of don’t want to wear a sleeved shirt and I think a long sleeved shirt is best with those shorts or skirt.

Eeeek! What to do?! These dresses are also at fab’rik right now and they have a S.A.L.E.

Ok yall- need some help! fab’rik has a TON of choices- I have a dress on hold there right now as well as some sequined shorts.

I’m also super tempted to order rush shipping on these items from Page 6 Boutique:

I can’t decide!!! Help!!! Why do I keep doing this to myself?!

And see- the other thing is, there is always another event which calls for a sparkly party dress. So I can totally justify the purchases. But seriously yall- which one should I go with for New Year’s Eve? It needs to be sexy and sultry and everything- not just glamorous and elegant, that’s what I wore for Taste of the Arts. New Year’s is a different kind of party. It’s ringing in the new year and it should sparkle- just like the hopes we have for the renewal of what the new year can bring. And us Southern Belle’s have to add our own little twist, whether it be pearls or cowboy boots.

This is also why I love fashion, because it can embody everything around you, not just the event but the emotion behind it. So again- help! Which one of these says “New Year’s Eve” to you?
