The Ultimate 2021 Gift Guide (With Help from My Family)

I have SO MANY PEOPLE I’m shopping for this year: two middle schoolers, a college aged girl, my boyfriend, parents, relatives, teachers, and the list continues.

The hardest person on my list to shop for is my boyfriend’s daughter. I’m lucky in that I’m an advisor for my sorority and last year I asked one of my girls what she would recommend. She was SPOT ON with this recommendation, and I’ll add that I noticed so many of the ladies at the chapter where my boyfriend’s daughter attends were also carrying this bag!

Carmen Sol
Toni Mid Cross Body – $255

Yes, it’s kind of on the pricey end but when I saw so many of the girls at her sorority chapter with this bag on parent’s weekend I knew I had scored big. I’d much rather spend the money on something I know someone will LIKE rather than a bunch of cheap things that they won’t.

She also makes her own powerpoint for her parents, and Lululemon is a big hit each year.

Lululemon
Pace Rival Mid-Rise Skirt $68

There’s a reason why this one sells out quickly- because so many people love it! I held off on the Lulu craze for as long as I could, and then my guy got me a pair for Christmas last year. Maybe it was because he was LITERALLY shopping the day before Christmas? Likely so, but luckily for him the same collegian who helped me with the Carmen Sol bag was working at the local Lulu store that day and helped him out. (Shout out Caroline Cole- you’re the best!) And now I get it. My Lulu’s are like a soft and comfortable best friend, and have held up well. Which I would expect them to for that price!

My easiest person to shop for is my 11 year old daughter, and that’s mostly because she makes her own Amazon lists and has fun doing so. One consistent for her are LED lights for her room, and this seems to be a constant for her friends as well.

Amazon
SHINESTAR LED Strip Lights $13.99

Not only are these relatively cheap, but they can also stick to the walls and wherever else the recipient wants them to go. 🙂 And the remote means they don’t even have to leave their beds – insert eyeroll on my part.

Amazon
Apple Watch Scrunchie Elastic Band $8.99

She also knows her main gift is an Apple Watch, so she’s also picked out these fun scrunchie watch band replacements. It’s still wild to me that these things are back in style for hair lol.

I said above shopping for my guy’s daughter was the hardest- whoops, that’s a mistake!! My SON is the hardest to shop for! He hates people spending money on him, and his sister had to pry out of him what he wanted. Goodness! So yeah, an Amazon list is pretty easy here too. He’s been super into gaming lately, but also soccer.

Amazon
Bundaloo Basketball Laundry Hamper $34.99

I don’t know what it is about almost 13-year old boys but seems like NONE of the ones I know want to keep their rooms clean. Lovely. But my son found this and swears it’ll help him keep things neat and tidy. At this point, I’ll do anything!

Amazon
Kids Pizza Food Throw Blanket $28.99

I rolled my eyes, he laughed hard. For whatever reason, he’s loving the idea of a pizza blanket. Ok kid.

My boyfriend is pretty easy to shop for, but I do have to plan ahead for him. I know he won’t be reading this because he’s never on social media, but I won’t say what I actually got him other than the brand name because everything was shipped to his house and he already saw the labeling. (Dang it!)

This man loves to cook- and I am often the beneficiary of this! So I’m happy to gift him these beautiful tools from Blanc Creatives that I know he will love… and perhaps (for sure) benefit me as well.

Now, you might ask…. but Molly- what do YOU love to get?! I tend to be practical, so I told my guy he was welcome to contribute towards my yoga teacher training for AIReal Yoga at Sparks Yoga, or to get me additional yoga packs there or at Homegrown Yoga. But he always surprises me with beautiful jewelry, so I honestly just let him go out on his own with that. He doesn’t exactly shop ahead, but his last minute shopping for both Christmas and my birthday resulted in a set from David Yurman so I’m not complaining!

Now, some of these items might be hard to come by if you are shopping late and there’s shipping issues. But Blanc Creatives posted that TODAY was their last shipping day before Christmas so I know you’re good to go there. Also, for local options I’m a big fan of Karats and Keepsakes- as is my daughter, Rumor Boutique, William’s Toy Store, as well as ANY restaurants.

I hope each of you has a lovely and bright holiday season, and know that y’all are in my thoughts- always. Truly because without you readers, I’m just shouting into the wind.
