Interview with Women’s Health Institute, Macon, Georgia

Hello lovelies!

As you read yesterday, Botox can be quite safe. But if you would like to have a chance to speak with a doctor about it face to face, learn more and see live demonstrations then you need to come to the open house tomorrow at Women’s Health Institute from 4 to 7. Yours truly will be participating as well! I have also done a short interview with Phan Anderson, who assists Dr. Anayo Umerah at this doctor run med spa. Each of them has over 10 years of experience in medicine and they offer total health care of Women’s Health Institute. They have a variety of services: Botox, Juvederm, Dysport, peels and products- all intended for use under a physician’s supervision. They have offer a physician supervised weight loss plan along with sclerotherapy and vein ablation with radiofrequency.

Their newest service is the Venous Freeze which uses radio frequency and magnetic pulses to help the body tighten up and reduce wrinkles by encouraging new collagen growth. I also spoke with Phan over email and by phone and asked her a few questions:

MIWM: Ok, I see on Facebook you are having an open house on Thursday? Can you tell me more about that? Is anyone welcome to come?

Yes we are having our open house from 4 until 7 pm and yes it is open to the public! We will dispel myths about Botox and other treatments. We will also have a few live demonstration models to show how we inject fillers and Botox and Dysport. You will see that it doesn’t hurt!

MIWM: Please tell me more about yourself and Dr. Umerah. What procedures do each of you do?

We both have over ten years of experience in medicine and are equal in our skills with injectables. Dr. Umerah handles the weight loss and skin care more than I do- whereas I handle the sclerotherapy. One of the things that make us both stand out with our services is that we cater to a clients needs. For example, we blend the use of fillers or Botox rather than just injecting it anywhere. We are very honest and realistic with our treatment plans so that we can meet the expectations of our clients. And we will work with your budget!

MIWM: What is your most popular treatment?

Botox around the 11s (? what is this?) and crow’s feet. Cheek augmentation and chin enhancement, microdermabraisions, chemical peels, and sclerothrapy. However the procedure that bring the most immediate surprise and delight is the nose enhancement! We also have had a lot of success with the Venous Freeze.

MIWM: How long have you been open in Macon?

Women’s Health Institute of Macon has been in business for almost two years. Dr. Umerah is from Philadelphia and I am from Colorado.

Hope to see yall later! Oh and also- they happen to be the featured DealChicken deal for Macon this weekend 😉

We had so much fun last night at the open house. The rain kept some people from attending, but those of us who were present had a blast! It was fun watching the live demos that make your wrinkles and parentheses disappear!
