Easy Roasted Okra

I was never one to try and cook okra myself.

I tried ONCE to fry them like my mom and that was an utter disaster. Waste of a good veggie.

Boiled? With a slide of slime? No thank you!

I had given up on this little tasty item until my guy showed me another way…..

Seriously this is so stupid easy but has so much flavor and is so good!

Slice your okra longways- or “hot dog style”- lightly cover glass pan with olive oil. Lightly cover okra with olive oil. Use those red pepper flakes you likely rarely use in your cabinet. Sprinkle to your preferred taste.

Roast at either 350 or 400- whatever is your preference- until they’ve got a good amount of crispyness to them. Again, your choice, I like mine dang near burned.

And that’s it! It’s the only way I’ll make mine from here on.

Let me know if you try it!
