THIS STUFF WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE: The Cookie Dough Cafe

Oh.

My.

GOD.

You guuyyyyysssssss……. I think I made the discovery of a lifetime!

So, they tell us that eating raw cookie dough is bad for us- because the raw egg can give you salmonella poisoning.

Side bar: Why are raw eggs bad for us? I mean, I’ve had raw egg in cocktails before? Does the alcohol kill the salmonella? Why is it ok to eat steak not cooked all the way? Anyways….

But, chances are- you’ve had raw cookie dough plenty of times without getting sick (I hope). I know I have. In fact, many times I’ll opt to eat the cookie dough without actually baking the cookies.

So when I discovered ” The Cookie Dough Cafe” in the aisle at Fresh Market I damn near died. And I had to buy it.

I was wondering if it would be any good- and luckily, it is. I mean you can’t put out a product like this and disappoint people! I found out some other fun facts from their website:

  • they only use real butter and natural peanut butter- i.e.: no hydrogenated oils and trans fats
  • no added preservatives
  • you can’t bake this cookie dough, though
  • this is EGG FREE (which is why you can eat it raw)
  • they are 100% women owned and certified by the WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council)

If you can’t find their products in your local stores, you can order online.

If you’re in the Macon area, I know you can find these products at Fresh Market.

You’re welcome.

Love to all y’all,
