Southern Style Sunday: Karats and Keepsakes

Fall is finally here! It’s that time of year again when the retro sundresses and cutesy shorts get put away and the layers start coming out. From what I’ve seen so far, this season is all about statement pieces that can add to whatever look you’re trying to achieve, no matter if that look is avant garde, classic, boho-chic, or casual comfort.

As someone who loves clothes and all things style-related, going on a quest to find that quintessentially fall piece was a challenge that I was more than willing to accept. I found just the thing at Karats and Keepsakes in their Red 23 Faux Fur Vest.

This piece is perfect for virtually any style. If you’re going for an avant garde look, then I would suggest pairing it with sharply cut 3/4 sleeved striped, graphic, or dark solid top, coated dark jeans, and spiky heels; for a more classic look, a nice black or wine colored top and some black jeans or slacks with some subdued heels or booties; for a boho-chic look, a graphic tee, some distressed jeans and boots; for casual comfort, your favorite flannel, skinny jeans, and booties.

Pictured below is my take on the casual comfort look, all pieces are from Karats and Keepsakes:

Whatever your personal style is, this vest is a must-have piece for the season, and is so cozy you’ll want to keep wearing it when it’s time to start shopping for spring!

Editor’s Note: We’re all loving that fall is finally starting to appear in the mid=state of Georgia! I personally love how Anna Mae also incorporated the flannel shirts that are already so big right now. Stay tuned for more from Anna Mae!
