Playing Hostess: a Hopping Good Time, a Bridal Shower and More

I’ve been gone for a while because my marketing business has been handling the PR and social media and everything for the new Lazy Dog Growler in Macon! Woo hoo! And I thought it would be bad form to write about it on here without giving others the chance to cover it first.

I have to tell y’all- I have had the best time with this. It’s been stressful, but in a good way. In a way that makes it mean that much more when the work is done.

Also- I have learned that I really like Strawn Brewing Company’s “Peach Habanero Wheat Ale”- delivered specially for the Lazy Dog Opening!

If you aren’t much of a beer drinker- you can also get wine on tap as well or take a bottle home.

Another cool thing: you can bring in your food and eat lunch or a snack while sampling some awesome beers!

Check me out! Always working….

Anywho- along with all of that I had a soccer game for my son and a bridal shower to throw.

HUGE thanks to Paul Harpin and the crew at Harpin’s for the amazing quiche and shortbread, and to the Moonhanger Group for the chicken (with lavender infused honey!) and deviled eggs and asparagus …. yum! Fountain of Juice for the brownies and blondies.

thank you Nicole for the awesome photos!

And to the Internet for helping me find a berry Sangria recipe that I tried for the first time and it worked. Phew!

Y’all… I’m tired. Now I’m off to Grow, Saralyn Collins’ new venture. I didn’t get in to Good to Go before she shut it down to revamp but I’m determined to make it to this opening…

Love to all y’all,

Molly
