Is It Spring Yet?

I’m pretty much over this winter.

I always love the changes of seasons because they bring new textures for clothing, new hues and colors and always something fun to play around with. But spring is always my favorite. It’s such a warm welcome when emerging from the cold of winter- even more so this year.

And yet spring seems to be coming around entirely too slow. Of course, it’s a bit of a blessing as well because it means we can buy winter clothing items on super sale and still wear them now. (I tend to buy a LOT of my really nice expensive winter coats in the spring and sometimes even the summer.)

Spring also makes me crave the absolute latest in fashion- and if I’m needing some inspiration sometimes I feel the need to watch some old t.v. shows. Yes ladies- it’s time to revisit some Gossip Girl.

Thanks to Amazon.com I managed to stumble across some old episodes of Gossip Girl and it has been like revisiting an old friend. An old friend who is very, very fashionable and always has everything you could want and more regardless of the season or the weather.

Of course- it does help that I actually OWN one of Blair’s dresses from Gossip Girl, this Tibi creation seen below:

And while Gossip Girl is fashionable no matter what season, I would like for the weather to continue to warm up, so that I may actually be able to wear my true Gossip Girl dress. And of course as you see above, I have put my own Southern Style on it with orange colored multi-stringed pearls, of course!
