#7DaysOfEarrings

So, every now and then I find myself inspired by others. Perfectly natural as an artist. (Which of course, is what any writer is.) Amanda Pearl is a designer I follow on Twitter and Instagram, as well as Facebook and Pinterest, and I have even interviewed her for this blog. She has been doing a project on her Twitter and Instagram called “#30DayOf_____”. First it was #30DaysOfSpots, then #30DaysOfShoes, now #30DaysOfPink. So of course I thought about doing my own 30 day Challenge, except I know I can’t stick to something for 30 whole days. I am too ADD. So, I am going to do a 7 day challenge.

I choose to do 7 days because hopefully I can actually stick to it. So then next challenge is- what to do for 7 days? I didn’t want to outright copy Miss Pearl, although I do love the idea of incorporating pink or any other one color for 7 days. What do I have enough of for this project?

Earrings. I have dozens upon dozens of earrings. Many of which I have never even worn. Earrings are something I buy when I see them and like them and I’ll figure out how to wear them later. They take up a lot less room than shoes or clothes so why not?

Now I have to admit- I have already fallen down on this challenge. I intended to start it Sunday and in fact did wear a pair of earrings Sunday that I had never even worn, despite owning them for a little over a year. Alas, come Monday I was sick and not feeling up to it. I will start it again this upcoming Sunday. J That way we have a full calendar week.
