Thing My Kids Say

I took my kiddos to Lunch Beat Macon the other day, and we had a BLAST- but afterwards my friend DJ Shawty Slim said to me: ” Damn- your kids have a LOT of energy!” Here they were before things got really started, and this lasted for an hour (sorry for the poor video quality):

And they do! They have a ton of energy and as exhausted as I get, I wouldn’t have it any other way. This right here was after a day of dancing and running around, after their baths, after dinner and all:

My kiddos say the darndest things- so much so that I’m going to have to start a YouTube video series for them. I mean really. Here’s some gems that they have come out with:

LK to Me: “If you don’t want to watch tv mommy all you have to do is say ‘please LK i don’t want to watch a movie’.”

Me: ” No LK- the way it works is you say to me ‘Mommy, I want to watch a tv show’.”

LK: “Ok Mommy we can do that!”

Wait- wait what?! what just happened here?!

Or this one:

LK, throws fit after B shows her up.

LK: ” Mommy he was trying to make me mad!!”

Me: “Well, it worked, didn’t it?”

LK- deadpans: ” Stop rubbing it in.”

*******

LK: ” I wanna watch the news in the morning cause I’m almost a grown up”

*******

Me, talking to LK ” Tell your brother it’s time to go to bed- go upstairs and get him…”

blump blump B comes down the stairs: ” Mommy! I’m ready for my treat!”

Me, ” What?”

B: ” LK said you would give me a treat!”

Me: ” No I didn’t, it’s night night time!”

B: ” WHAAAAT LK YOU LIED TO ME!!!!!”

LK, exasperated: ” Mommy! I told him that to get him to come downstairs!!!!”

Yeah…. what kinds of gems have your kiddos come out with?! I always love hearing about what my friends kids say- I know I’m not in this alone 😉

Love to all y’all,
