Tasty Tuesdays: The Transformation Spot

UPDATE: I went in today and got another flavor and met the other owner (DANG I forgot her name!! So sorry) and found out they’re working on opening a THIRD LOCATION in……. Forsyth! And hoping to be on the Square- and I got permission to share this so yay!

Finding a spot that can give me a quick pick me up is like finding treasured gold: I’m so used to so much coffee running through me that not too many places can give me the energy boost I need. (I should probably lay off of the coffee but that’s another topic for another day.) Here is where The Transformation Spot comes in: I saw friends talking about them a LOT. A lot a lot. And honestly sometimes when a place gets super hyped up my inner Doubting Thomas creeps in and I have to really be persuaded to try it out.

However, on this particular day of my Spring Break I had just dropped off my kids with their grandmother and I was driving down Ridge and remembered- if I cut through to the Ameris Bank I could likely park in their parking and make the quick five step walk to this new place I had heard about- and besides, a friend mentioned their B-12 Energy Drink and what could it hurt to try it before the gym?

That was my winning decision for that day! Edna, their owner, is SO NICE- I chatted her up way too much and it’s a good thing I was the only one there or folks would have been waiting. She suggested the perfect combo for me and I left there with a tangy-tart drink filled with goodness. I proceeded on to the gym and got exactly what I needed to quick start my day.

If you haven’t been that then you need to change this ASAP- they’re got more than just energy drinks but also these power protein waffle things which look totally delicious. It’s also handy that they are down the street from Homegrown Yoga where I taught my first class the other day (YAY!) and hopefully will be teaching more! So be sure to check them out- I’m telling you, you will be thanking me later.

Love to all y’all,

Molly
