Preparing for the Macon Symphony

So, any excuse to dress up- right?

Oh sorry, I am starting mid conversation. I will take any excuse to get dressed up, however I would suppose yall know this by now. So, what’s the excuse this time? Opening night of the Macon Symphony. I wrote about it in my other blog as well (http://aroundtownwithmissmolly.blogspot.com/2012/09/macon-symphony-opening-night-and.html) however of course I am already debating what I am going to wear. I have this dress that Kourtney Kardashian was photographed in, but hers is blue and mine is green:

But I have another dress that I love as well, one I have been photographed in on a couple of occasions. It’s a black dress from Ginger Michelle with this very interesting neckline, I don’t know how else to describe it really. I usually wear it with a pearl pendant (thus the “Southern style” ) and diamond earrings. See below:

Ok, I know you can’t really see the dress, I’ll have to find another picture. But I think you get the idea.

Oooo or maybe this one:

So, now we have three dresses to choose from. Opinions?

From what I recall, there are all sorts of outfits that show up to the opening of the symphony. Perhaps this blog post will inspire others to dress up as well 😉

But that’s not all- then the debate goes to hair, makeup, etc. I’m thinking that with the green dress I would wear my hair down, maybe also with the black one. But I would be tempted to go have someone put it up for me if I wear the black. Then we get to shoes. I wear my pink Jessica Simpson peep toes with damn near everything, so I think this would be a good chance to mix it up. Gold goes great with that green dress and silver with the black…

Then comes getting my nails done, makeup, etc etc etc.

But this goes for any night out to be honest! So many cocktail dresses, so little time to plan them out. Next there’s the Preview Party for Historic Macon’s Idea House, more concerts- whew!

Eeek! So many decisions! I know it’s just for one night out but my outfit choice tonight will affect choices for other events and lord knows I’ll be photographed. And let’s be honest, it’s fun!

I’m a big fan of color so I’d go with the green. Looks like I need to buy my tickets too!
