Music Monday: *repeat repeat

I’m a passionate believer that people are brought into our lives for a reason.

I briefly dated someone who would end our relationship under suspicious circumstances. However, again, people are brought into our lives for reasons. I like the girl he married and because of our brief romance I got to meet the band *repeat repeat.

Getting to meet people in a band humanizes them in a way that might seem unexpected or even silly to say.

(our hero, Jason Lee Denton took this one time, which I think means we're probably models).
From their Facebook page: (our hero, Jason Lee Denton took this one time, which I think means we’re probably models).

Or, well, I met two of them. Kristyn and Jared Corder are some of the nicest people I’ve met. They aren’t full of themselves in the least and Kristyn has quite the soft spot for all animals.

And they make really good music.

*repeat repeat describes themselves as “surf rock candy flower pop” according to their Facebook page. Delve in a little deeper to their website to read the following:

“Making whimsical surf-tinged pop may seem like a daunting tash when you live states away from the nearest beach”.

But they pull it off quite nicely. I’ve put their Bad Lattitude album on, appropriately, repeat- over and over again.

They’re coming to Macon on March 11th at The Hummingbird. You will NOT want to miss this!

In the meantime, give them a listen here:

Love to all y’all,
