Lost Keys Dating Auction Presented by Miss Q
Lost Keys Literary Festival will be hosting a date auction tomorrow night, September 4, 2015. Starting at 8PM at Grant’s Lounge, Danielle Quesenberry (Chair) will be auctioning off some local literati. You may make a donation to the person of your choosing. If you make the highest donation, you will sign up for a group date dinner provided by Kudzu Catering (yes, dinner is free. You think I’d ask you out and not fork over for the bill? 😉 )
The event aims to provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere for people interested in the literary arts in our community to meet each other and forge an even stronger relationship. The Lost Keys board will be there (a few are being auctioned) as well as some local artists (such as Khalil and our fabulous editor Molly McWilliams Wilkins) who have volunteered their time (and maybe their hearts).
Strict guidelines will be followed – the person you donate to is not obligated under any circumstance to do anything other than attend dinner with you in a group setting.
Remember, all donations made to Lost Keys return to our community by paying our artists and venues. Lost Keys aims, in the long run, to provide learning support for improving child literacy in Bibb county as well as celebrating our regional artists and their literary endeavors.
We hope to see you at Grant’s. Even if you don’t want a date, you may always donate to our cause and we’ll give you a resounding thank you (and maybe a kiss on the cheek from Miss Q).
P.S. Don’t forget to take lots of pictures and share your literary experiences with our hashtag #maconlit so we can find you!
