Hello, My Name Is Molly and I Am Addicted to Orphan Black

I’m dead tired today, my kids’ dad brought them to my house this morning at, like, 7:30 am, and I went to bed at roughly some time after 2:00 am.

I blame Stacey and Jonathan.

They told me during brunch at Dovetail one time about this amazing show talking about human cloning and all kinds of modern issues, and that one actress plays many (many) characters.

I feel like I’m not giving away too much to talk about the way it starts, because one can easily Google it, if I talk about it here. Orphan Black is my newest addition, courtesy of Amazon Prime and BBC America. It’s about a young lady who stumbles upon her own clones- unaware of their existence until she witnesses one of them killing themselves before her very eyes.

The series takes multiple twists and turns, with Sarah taking the identity of the (unknown at the time) clone of herself: Beth, a police officer. Bring in other clones, Allison- a stay at home mom, and Cosima- a scientist (very useful for many reasons), and Katya- who dies early on.

I’m afraid to say too much more because I think most of my friends haven’t seen it yet BUT I’m almost done with Season 2 and I only just started this show like, almost 2 weeks ago.

Run- do not walk to get on this bandwagon. It’s worth it.

Oh and you’ll see why some of us are super pissy about actress Tatiana Maslany NOT BEING NOMINATED of an Emmy- wtf.

Anyways- go. And I will be drinking coffee all day long.
