Happenings in Georgia: Tonight and More

Many times I’ll write that I have to try and be in multiple places in multiple times…. but never have I wanted to be in multiple cities at once.

Tonight in Savannah, Sara Jane’s Fashion Truck will debut as a part of Savannah Fashion Night. Along with that, all of the boutiques along Broughton will be open and a pedestrian friendly environment will be happening right now. So wish I was down there. And excited for Sara Jane’s new fashion truck! I’ll have an interview with her later about what exactly this means for all of us 😉 Last year over 4,000 people attended Savannah’s Fashion Night. Pretty much kills me that I can’t be there. Congrats to all of y’all and I will see you soon!

In Athens, thanks to Instagram I see all of these restaurants are having amazing menus going on this evening. 5&10 has a prix fix menu- here you can see Roasted Octopus with Serrano-compressed melon, pork loin with pommel macabre and chocolate mousse cake.

Tomorrow night in Macon is all the First Friday fun! A Femme Fatale show at Macon Arts Alliance, the Locals Only Show at the Bird, SonCon Fest at Mercer University, the Back to School Bash at the Cox Capitol AND Floco Torres is at Roasted. And that’s just the start of it. OH AND one of my very favorite bands will be at the Bird tomorrow: All the Locals. Totally excited to see them again!
