Flowerless Prom to Aid the Flower Shop

During high school prom, flowers are such a big deal. In many cases, this is the first time a boy (or girl) buys his sweetheart some flowers- and she (or he) will show them off with pride.

However, not too long ago the little flower shop Flowers by Helen was struck by an early morning fire. Devastating their business, to say the very least. But the darling little town of Forsyth, Georgia has been coming together to assist them.

I first head about it when I saw Sage & Sparrow’s video:

And then saw that my friends and Magnolia Med Spa were also helping, along with other businesses:

But today, another great idea popped up on social media:

I don’t know about y’all but I think this is just the sweetest thing ever- for these kids to be willing to give up a part of their prom to help a local business.

Be sure to keep an eye open for the Go Fund Me Account, or go by United Bank in Forsyth or stop by Magnolia’s Med Spa- they are still accepting donations as well.

This is certainly the way to come together and bloom forever- in a small or big town. No matter where you are.

Love to all y’all,

Molly
