Cherry Blossom & Spring Fashions in the South!

It’s springtime here in Middle Georgia and one of the events that heralds the change in weather is the Cherry Blossom Festival.

I got to participate in the Cherry Blossom Fashion show along with my children. All of our items were from Dillard’s.

One thing I noticed in the fashion show is that yes, of course pink played a big factor. But I also loved the pants my daughter was wearing- and I’ve noticed them even in adult women’s fashion: palazzo pants. They’re great for our tempermental weather, allowing the cool breeze to flow through the easy material on hot days but also with their length will cover up on cooler nights.

But classic fashion are classic for a reason: white pants for women as well as Ralph Lauren items for adults and children.

I also loved the easy shorts and chambray top that Amyre Makupson wore from Ginny Marie’s and matching outfit from her son, Myles.

The fashions are going to be very favorable for our hot summer days and cooler evenings.

One of my very favorite new purchases is from Rumor Boutique and it’s an Izzy & Lola white blouse, it’s not form fitting, has my favorite 3/4 length sleeve, and is made of this amazing gauzy fabric which will do wonders in our weather.

Even the fancier items will work for our weather! My friend Leah Fleming from GPB wore this amazing fringy lace item. It has a nude colored background with white lace overlay. You can hear me on Leah’s show speaking about this event and Southern style:

I can’t wait to share more about being a Southern Bon Vivant and Southern culture with Leah and the GPB audience!

Love to all y’all,

Molly
