Workin for the Weekend, Already
It’s already a hectic weekend in my world- and it hasn’t even happened yet.
Over at The Cannonball House we’ve partnered with Theatre Macon to present our 5th annual Candlelight Apparitions event: A Mystery in Macon. Come over to the Cannonball House starting at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5th to follow Katie & Willie Martin in the year 1881 as they search the city of Macon for mysterious clues a voice has left for them. You can call 478-745-5982 to buy tickets OR if we’re friends on Facebook, message me and I will take care of it over email for you!
But before you head down to see us at Cannonball House- make sure you stop by the Historic Macon Flea Market! I’ll be at the Preview Party Friday night, but I was able to get some photos from the lovely folks over at Historic Macon of the items for sale:
But this is just some of them! You’ll want to go to the sale Saturday from 8 am until 3 pm, or even Sunday from 1 pm until 5 pm.
I know I know- it’s a lot to ask for y’all. But hear me out! Go ahead and start your day downtown early. Grab breakfast at H&H Saturday morning and fuel up with some coffee.
Then head over to the sale at the flea market!
Once you get your fill of shopping- go to Robinson Home’s newest hot spot Fork & Key for some bubbly or rose with a cheese plate and appetizers. Trust me, it makes a great lunch!
At this point, you’re probably tired. Everything in Middle Georgia is only 30 minutes from downtown so go home for a nap.
THEN come back out and see us at Cannonball House! You won’t want to miss me in this get up:
We’ve got show times at 5,6,7,8 and 9 pm. You can come before dinner or after! As of late, I’m really loving heading to Tic Toc Room:
Now look- don’t say there’s nothing to do in Macon! There’s PLENTY listed above. Need more evidence? How about my weekend LAST weekend in a nutshell, ahem-
Caught amazing music from Macon Pops at Mercer University while hanging out with some of my best friends and half of Macon:

Met with even MORE amazing friends at Robinson Home/Fork & Key for the First Street Halloween event and cheese and wine.
Went home, showered, then took kiddos to the Thriller parade:

BED!!! Then, church at First Baptist Church of Christ, and then back home for lunch and costumes to go back to FBCX for the Fall Festival:
THEN straight to the Historic Macon Member’s Only event at the Bonnybrae-Bedgood House where my kids made friends with the soon-to-be residents and got the Grand Tour, so to speak:
Don’t tell me there’s nothing to do here! You’ve got your marching orders for this weekend. Can’t wait to see y’all!
Love to all y’all,
Molly
