The Perfect Mother’s Day Gifts: Spa Medical

Mother’s Day is just around the corner- and it always sneaks up on me! Every. Single. Time. I’m not exactly sure how it happens- oh wait, I know. Running a blog, work, marketing, and being a mom myself- it’s not like I ever take time for myself.

My own mother is no exception. She helps me out a ton, from picking up my kiddos if I’m stuck at work, to babysitting, to listening to me complain and more. Not to even mention all of the running around she did when I was a kid to countless softball practices, games, theatre practices, competitions, and on and on. And she also worked full time as a teacher, taking care of other people’s kids.

So what to do for the women in my life, and in yours, who has done it all? Well, I’ve got several suggestions for you!

For this post, I’m going to talk about getting a Signature Facial at Spa Medical. My mom had never gotten a facial before, so I took her over there to have that experience.

Carrie, their esthetician, is so super awesome. Not only is she just a nice person in general, but she gives an awesome facial, too. My mother elected to get the Signature Facial, which includes a deep pore cleaning, steam treatments, head and neck relaxation massage and a facial mask. Along with getting a deep cleaning spa facial, this is meant to pamper: designed to improve one’s complexion while also addressing the specific issues you might have.

The facial lasts one hour and each one is customized for the individual person. Carrie then analyzed my mother’s skin and made specific recommendations of products which would help to keep that glow.

” It was very relaxing, the music was great, I could just about go to sleep while they were working on me! And I loved how my face felt afterwards: nice and clean and I smelled good afterwards,” said my mom, Gena McWilliams. And I can say that much is true- she did smell good the rest of the day! And I could tell an immediate difference in not just her skin, but her whole demeanor for the rest of the day. She seemed happier and more relaxed.

” I am eager to go back!”

So, if you would like to give your mom that same experience for Mother’s Day, be sure to go ahead and book you appointment at Spa Medical by calling 478-743-2299.

I’ll have even more Mother’s Day recommendations- coming up! So keep your eyes open.
