The Bird’s The Word (Hummingbird- Not the Turkey Bird)
Hee hee every now and then I kind of crack myself up with these blog titles. I may be the only one laughing but- anyways….
Thanksgiving!!! It’s not just a time for family but also for friends a.k.a the family you choose and one of my friendly places in town is The Hummingbird. Don’t let my classy appearance fool you every now and then I like to just go and have a lil fun myself. But y’all know that.
Today! Wednesday! It’s the 7th Annual Early Bird Special at The Hummingbird Stage and Taproom. St. Francis will be playing (side note: one of the band members worked with me at Enterprise Rent a Car, and a band member in Back City Woods did as well, so… need to launch a music career? Go work at Enterprise? Maybe?) and the staff will be bringing in foods of their own creation- and of course feel free to bring one of your own.
This event is just one more reason I Really Love Macon- yes I will continue to repeat this mantra because it’s true. I’m so lucky to call so many people my friends, and those at The Bird truly are.
