Tasty Tuesday: Fatty’s Pizza – a Review By Children

Pizza is pizza is pizza.

Well, not quite.

We do love our pizza in Macon, Georgia. So I’m always looking at new places with a side eye. I already know and love Ingleside Village Pizza for their food and eclectic decor, Sauced because it’s right by our house, Doughboy because it’s downtown and I can catch up on things with Roger, and also The Brick- also a walk from my house and with an extensive bar.

But another one? And can their pizza really be different?

Well, it is. And it’s delicious. The owners here also own Parish, a New Orleans styled restaurant on Cherry Street.

Fatty’s opened on Bragg Jam night and I really wondered how that was going to go for them- that’s brave stuff, y’all.

Their dough knots are actually knotted up and look and TASTE awesome. And the pizza was great and the crust looked like it had been twisted up in some kind of way.

My kids approved as well:

They also really appreciated being allowed to stand near (not in) the kitchen and ask questions. Which, as a tired parent, I appreciated.

So what did my kids have to say? Well, they chimed in more off camera to tell everyone it was the best they had.

Love to all y’all,

Molly
