Spreading Some Southern Small Biz Love: Georgia Edition

My friend, and once SBV contributor, Rachel Wilson posted something interesting on her Facebook the other day:

“According to a recent FEMA report, 40 percent of small business will never reopen following Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Being closed for almost a week with *zero* income can be devastating for a small business, not to mention the damages to building and inventory from a storm. I’m making it my goal this week to shop small. Some of my favorite local/small businesses are: Sara Jane Children’s Boutique ?, Harkleroad Diamonds & Fine Jewelry ?, Auspicious Baking Company ?, Brighter Day Natural Foods Market ?, Ghost Coast Distillery ?, Fork & Dagger ?, and Savannah Coffee Roasters Café and Bistro ☕️ What are your three fav small local businesses and where will you be shopping small this week? #buylocal #buylocalsavannah #shopsmall #makeadifference

Which got me to thinking… there’s so much all of us can do- and the holidays are just around the corner! So here’s some of my favorite Southern born businesses I’m going to be doing my holiday shopping within the state of Georgia:

Around the state, online, in retail stores

Southern Bon Vivant

Of course, plenty of people in my family will be getting our candles- but we’ve also got more products on the horizon! We’re currently avaialble online as well as in the following stores:

Travis Jean

Clarity Skin Solutions

Southern Sugaring

The Village Marketplace

Cachettes + St. Simons

Lily + B: Jewelry By Kids, For Kids

This is actually another Southern Bon Vivant product, but it’s made by my two sweet babies! They discovered that they LOVE to make jewelry!

One of my very very favorite things is yoga, and it’s one of those things I don’t do enough for myself. The AiReal Yoga is my super fave, and while some might find it intimidating- I think it’s actually a great introduction into yoga. You’ll find it’s easier to get into certain poses that you might find difficult otherwise- and leave super empowered.

There’s always something clever and creative here for any little ones- mine can amuse themselves for hours with these fun toys.

Magnolia’s Atlanta Medical Spa

We love everything these ladies have to offer! Facials, Foot Detox, a special sauna that uses DRY HEAT so you can use your computer while in it…. this is the ultimate spa getaway! Want more details about what we’ve tried so far? Go here!
