The Official Southern Bon Vivant Deviled Eggs

So, y’all heard me talk about making the BEST deviled eggs in the above video. But I haven’t told y’all how. Now I will!

I made these deviled eggs with the help of the man in my life, who made an edit which made for a surprising little twist.

These were created for a party with my friends from Mama Honey’s Hiney Rub! **UPDATE: Mama Honey’s is currently not in production, but any spice rub can make for a temporary substitution.

The Official Southern Bon Vivant Deviled Eggs

*recipe calls for 2 dozen eggs*

1 1/4 cup Olive Oil Mayo

3 tablespoons lemongrass paste

2 1/2 Tablespoons Mama Honey’s Hiney Rub

2 1/2 teaspoons of mustard powder

2 1/2 tablespoons of sweet relish

Directions:

Boil two dozen eggs, scoop out yolks

Mix yolks with mayo, mustard powder, and sweet relish. Add lemongrass paste (can adjust for taste). Mix in Mama Honey’s last, 1 or more tablespoons to taste *caution, it can get hot! Then sprinkle to taste on top (and it looks pretty, too)!
