New Restaurant Opens in Macon: Pietro’s

It’s always an exciting event when a new restaurant opens in Macon.

This time it comes courtesy of two former employees of Natalia’s: Pietro Bongiovanni & Matthew Anderson.

It’s in the former Mirkos’s and Maggio’s space- and let me tell y’all the work they’ve done to update it is amazing.

I had the chance to speak with Matthew about the mission of Pietro’s:

“We are inspired by the true and wholesome desire to educate and provide the realm of healthy, home-grown produce and meats to the world of people surrounding us.”

MW: Awesome! When will y’all open?

“We are open for month of April between the hours of 11:30am to 4:30pm for lunch. Beginning in May, we are open for lunch and dinner from 11:30am to 9:30pm. Tuesday through Thursday 11:30am to 10:00pm Friday and Saturday.”

MW: So, you’re open for lunch tomorrow?

“Yes.”

MW: Fantastic, and tell me more about your menu?

“Our menu consists of totally organic home-made pastas, non-hormone, non-steroid chicken and pork, and grass-fed filets and ribeyes from our local farmers.”

MW: And if you could say anything else, what would it be?

“We have a healthy, caring, efficient staff of waiters bent on excellent service and dedication to our customers. We hope to expand beyond middle Georgia and change the world by leading through example that love answers all concerns.”

I can’t wait to bring y’all more information about this new place!

Want a sneak peek at the menu? Here it is!!
