New Internal Medicine Offices Opens in North Macon

Dr. Jeremiah McClure is not like other health professionals you have met.

It is plain to anyone who speaks to him that this is a doctor who regards each of his patients as a person with a present and future, for which he feels personally responsible to contribute to in the most positive way possible. This interest is reflected in his business model. He believes that every interaction a patient has with his staff must be positive and beneficial. His outlook on private medical practice is that each member of the team should feel that they are valued and contributing to the movement of the organization. He views his team of nurses, techs, and assistants as a work family. The model makes sense. People who enjoy their jobs are better at them and take more care in their work.

As an internal medicine doctor, Dr. McClure specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases which affect adults. Originally, Dr. McClure’s interests were in Cardiology, but after having lived with his elderly grandmother for a few years, he realized that what makes medical work worthwhile for him is the people.

Through my and my team’s conversations with Dr. McClure he has made it very plain that his goal is to create a unique, even boutique-like experience for his patients where they can have a one-stop-shop for their medical needs. Even going so far as to encourage healthier eating habits from the moment you walk in the door.
