A New Classic: Roasted Cafe At Night

One of my very favorite places, Roasted Cafe & Lounge, has decided to launch a dinner menu.

This makes me excited for so many reasons. I used to hang out at Roasted in the evenings a few years ago, back when Danny still worked there and JuBee was still around.

But back to Roasted. One of the things I love about this place is that it’s still very true to it’s roots. It’s friendly to the businessman as well as the artist wearing whatever it was they woke up in.

And now they’re making incredibly delicious dinners.

They’ve got a lovely extended wine list.

Here’s the dinner menu:

So, what did I chose to order for my first dinner visit? I got the Rosemary Honey Mustard Chicken with broccoli and rice.

The chicken was cut into small, nugget sized pieces which was great since I was taking it to go to work. The honey mustard & rosemary was perfectly seasoned, not overpowering.

This was my dinner from @roastedmacon two nights ago. I miss it. Go see them!

The rice was out of this world. I didn’t ask what kind it was, my bad, but it was some kind of yellow rice. And it was super tasty. (Whoops- noticing they have a saffron rice as a side. I bet that’s what it was.)

For my side I got the sliced balsamic tomatoes, which I thought was a nice tangy addition.

I only wish I could have had a glass of wine with it all!

Get over to Roasted quick to try their dinner menu. They’re open Wednesday through Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. for dinner.

Love to all y’all,

Molly
