Dinosaurs Come To Macon!!!

Today I was lucky enough to take my kids and check out the Discover The Dinosaurs! event at the Macon Coliseum & Cenrtreplex.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I was really happily surprised to see my kids reacted well to the event. They loved the realism of the exhibit (as realistic as it can get- my 6 and 5 year old were pretty well convinced). They loved the rides. Yes, there’s a gift section strategically placed in between the exhibit and the inflatables/rides- but what can you expect?

Here’s a short video of my kiddos going through the event:

There were just enough “real dinosaurs” to keep them interested. There was spot for them to “dig for fossils”. There were also places where older kids could read about the dinosaurs, and really I could have read these things to them- but… my kids couldn’t slow down for all that! They literally ran in the moment we got there.

That video above? Was basically our third time through. They loved it THAT MUCH.

Big thanks to Courtney for letting us check it out, we’re definitely going to go back! It was totally worth the money. Also? My kids are FOR SURE going to sleep early tonight. Sweet parental victories- we take them where we can.

Also, my kids told me I was their hero today. And that they really really loved me.

Love to all y’all,

Molly
