Cute Atlanta Stays + Date Night Outfit

One cool thing about working in Atlanta as of late is that I’ve been staying in various places around the city. I’m big on learning more about places and people and things in general.

I’ve also been… ahem… dating in Atlanta. Which is an adventure in of itself! Of course I have written about my dating life here before and that is something that has grown and evolved over time.

So for this post I wanted to highlight this dress I got years ago during the pandemic from Atlanta based J Brooks Boutique. Total impulse buy and when I got it I didn’t like it at first because the material wasn’t what I pictured but it’s turned into a dress that i’ve come to love.

Red is not a color I gravitate towards but it’s one I’ve embraced as of late. It’s a power color for sure!

On this particular trip to Atlanta I stayed in the Grant Park neighborhood. I love how walkable it is and all of the different style of historic homes. I’ve also learned that I have a misconception of traffic in Atlanta. So far as long as I’ve stayed in a neighborhood that’s ITP (inside the perimeter) I haven’t had any real traffic issues. The one time I stayed in the Smryna area I did encounter heavy traffic going back to my hotel.

All of this to say it’s fun to get the chance to explore new to me places. Do you have suggestions for where I should stay next? Let me know! I’m also making a guidebook for all of the Airbnbs and hotels where I’ve stayed. You can join my mailing list for the free version here: https://mailchi.mp/3e06c52dd89c/airbnb-sign-up-list
