UPDATE: Chick-Fil-A Giveaway and #BreakfastPremier

UPDATE:

So, I got a whole bunch of swag at this event and didn’t realize it until the other night when I started to get organized. I have way more than I need so….. yall win! I’m giving some of it away. But I can’t make it that easy.

Who ever refers the most new “likes” to my Facebook page  will win the ” grand prize”. This consists of TWO ” Free- new item each month” with one listed for August, September, and October. A “Celubrate with Chikin” Chick-Fil-A cow, a Chick-Fil-A paper hat, a foldable car (great to entertain kids) and still one of the milkshake coupons. Best way to do this is post on your own FB status a link to this post and ask people to go and like my page- when they do this they just need to comment with your name as having sent them. Two runner ups will get one  “Free- new item each month” coupon, a Eat More Chikin cow and still the milkshake coupon. And of course anyone who comments on the status with their favorite item from below will still be entered to win the milkshake coupons.

LOVE YALL!!!! And continue on….

So, every now and then you get to do some really cool stuff as a blogger. This time I was invited to check out the new breakfast menu for Chick-fil-A. Don’t get too excited though- if you live outside of the Middle Georgia area you may not have access to this yet. We get to be a test market! Which is cool because our input is needed to decided where they go next with this.

I got to take my kids and my mom to check out these new items:

1. The Toasted Sausage, Egg and Cheese English Muffin
2. The Maple Waffle
3. The Cinnamon Biscuit Roll
4. The Toasted Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel

Now, the English Muffin and Bagels can also be ordered on their own. I personally really liked the sausage, egg and cheese English Muffin. It’s nice to have a little bit more healthy choice at a fast food restaurant. The cinnamon biscuit roll also had cream cheese icing- not exactly healthy let’s me honest but SUPER tasty. Yay! And the maple waffle will be really handy for someone who wants something sweet but needs it on the go.

Now I know I talk a lot about eating fresh and organic and from the farm and while I still think that’s the best way to go when you can let’s be real- it doesn’t always happen. But I was really happy to get to take a tour of the Chick-Fil-A kitchen and get to see that they do use fresh chicken and fresh fruit, etc.

Back to the party itself, we really had quite a blast. My kids loved interacting with whoever was in the Cow costume, I feel sorry for whoever it was cause my kids kept trying to climb on them. ( Sorry.)

Be sure to follow me on Vine, under Make It Work Molly, to see the videos I took during the event as well. AND be sure to get to Chick-Fil-A to check out their new menu items for yourself!!! According to “Eat This, Not That” Chick-Fil-A is one of the healthiest, if not healthiest FAST FOOD restaurant! Of course, that doesn’t mean you should eat a cinnamon roll, chicken sandwich, waffle fries, large shake, and brownie all in one sitting…
