Busy as Bees First Friday

So, was going to write about the AWESOME massage I got yesterday from Chantalle at Amanda Jane Salon however I just ran out of time to properly rewrite my notes- and tonight is First Friday and there’s LOTS to write about that.

Macon Arts Alliance: The Roaring 20’s Show – This show is always a super fun one to check out new and emerging artists in Macon. It also serves to kick off the Taste of the Arts Roaring 20’s fundraiser for the Arts Alliance. Tonight’s show is surely one not to be missed. Artists featured are Courtney Bond, Amanda Clark, Walter Price, Jamie Ragan, Heidi Clinite, William Dantzler, Nicole Roth, Hannah Sanders, Lacie Westbrook, Christian Ann Holloway, Charlene Hanson, Jeremy Couch. Mediums will be ceramics, glasswork, assemblage, painting, printmaking, and clothwork. Special recognition and thanks to Spa Medical and Vein Specialists of the South.

Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and Main Street Macon: Meet the Mercer Bears! – This is your chance to meet the football players for the new Mercer football team. Event starts at 6 pm and serves as a way for the public the meet the players themselves before the opening game on the 31st.

Roasted: Craig Hamilton’s First Friday Art Show – music to follow this art show but really, it’s Craig Hamilton- a downtown Macon fixture and DC Comic artist. What’s not to love?!

Luther Williams Park, Movie on the Green: Showing of the movie “42” – The movie “42” will be shown at Luther Williams Park tonight. Gates open at 8pm, movie begins at 9pm. Outside food and drink is allowed. Picnic baskets and blankets are encouraged.

So, what will you be doing??? I’m having a tough time choosing!
Love to all yall…
