BREAKING NEWS: Clarification for Macon Pops

Hello folks!

I will have more details later, but I was asked to PLEASE let y’all know that a local publication was recently published and distributed to some homes in Macon confusing the next Macon Symphony performance of the Eagles hits, which is the MSO’s yearly Pops performance, with the Macon Pops Orchestra‘s next performance.

For clarity purposes, the Macon Symphony Orchestra and the Macon Pops Orchestra are two different organizations. Both are outstanding and have amazing performers however the Macon Pops Orchestra’s line ups are custom created pops performances- as was my understanding during the phone conversation I had with Steve Moretti today. The Macon Symphony Orchestra does perform a pops performance one time during their yearly line up- but it is a separate entity from the Macon Pops.

Floco Torres performs during the last Macon Pops performance, JoDee Messina will perform at the next one.

I will be reaching out to both organizations for quotes but wanted to get this information out as quickly as possible so that there was no confusion in the community.

This is by no means meant to be a slight on the publication that printed the confusion, as I am sure they will address it in the proper manner however as a supporter for both organizations I wanted to put out a clarification to my readers.

Y’all know I love y’all cause I’m writing this from a coffee shop in Athens while on (another) assignment from the online publication Bourbon and Boots. 🙂

Love to all y’all,

Molly
