Molly McWilliams Wilkins
Molly McWilliams Wilkins has years of experience in the Macon area as a sales and marketing professional, as well as over ten years of experience in freelance editorials, copywriting, and using social media platforms. She also has experience working in human resources. Wilkins brings a wealth of online marketing experience as well as social media marketing knowledge to any project.
Wilkins is a Macon native who studied Political Science and History at Mercer University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communications and Leadership at Gonzaga University. In addition to her extensive knowledge of social media campaign management, Wilkins has also contributed to numerous Macon publications such as The Telegraph, Macon Magazine, Georgia Family Magazine, and The 11th Hour. Wilkins also served as the Local Editor for Mercer University’s The Cluster, an independent student run newspaper.
Her many social media profiles, as well as her own website Southern Bon Vivant, reach as many as 100,000+ impressions each month. She has also recruited a network of local bloggers from across the state to write for her website. Her lifestyle blog and e-magazine has become a key part of the communities they write in, and their social media presence is strong.
Wilkins has also guest blogged for the Knight Foundation, Bourbon and Boots, Gateway Macon, Paste Magazine, and other publications. She has published an online blog called MakeItWorkMolly.com, recently rebranded as Southern Bon Vivant, since 2011 as a spin off of her original column in Macon Food and Culture Magazine, thus establishing herself as a fashion, food, music, and Southern lifestyle go-to person in Georgia.
In addition to her printed work, Wilkins has experience as a model, photographer, and speaker.
