A Brief Santa Fail (And a Santa Save)

Somewhere in between being on top of the Christmas cards and holiday shopping lists prior to Thanksgiving, all of a sudden it was two weeks out from Christmas and I found myself horribly behind. I’m going to blame it on a combination of finals, applying for graduate school, applying for my son to get in to the magnet schools, and taking on a part time job at a large retailer along with growing my own business. It happens.

Thankfully, we have a local store called William’s Store: Toys and More which helped save the day. They have got everything from baby dolls to everything Melissa and Doug to puzzles and the crown jewel of this Santa’s giving this year: the Quadrilla Marble Run.

My kids are very opinionated about what they want for Christmas, most of their list is comprised of junk they have seen on children’s t.v. shows. They may have gotten a few items off of that list but I really wanted something that could help them developmentally as well as to have fun.

This marble run set is fantastic because they can create their own puzzle-like structures with it and think about where the marble will fall and run off to based on their own creations. And the wooden structure will hold up to the test of time and can be added on to with other pieces.

Now- the Christmas cards might be getting out in just the nick of time- but at least the gifts are taken care of. If you are a last minute Santa as well, and want to avoid a Santa fail, then pop over to Ingleside Avenue and visit William’s Store. They will even be open Christmas Eve, in case there’s a few more last minute gifts to receive.
