7 Savannah Favorites on OpenTable
OpenTable is my absolute favorite app for booking restaurant reservations. They allow you to easily book through their app and collect points to be redeemed for gift certificates later on.
Aside from that, I love their very handy map feature, which you can also zoom in and out of.
So with that in mind, I wanted to share some of my favorite Savannah restaurants that you can easily book through OpenTable, in no particular order.
I got to visit this fun little spot during Savannah Stopover. One thing to bear in mind is that it is on the main floor of the Andaz Savannah Hyatt, so you do need to walk through their lobby to get there.
A Savannah mainstay, and definitely worth stopping in.
The first, and only, time I’ve been here was ages ago- before Instagram, before blogs, when I got to meet my then boyfriend’s parents. Color me nervous! But I’ll never forget that lovely meal. (And his parents were pretty nice, too.)
“Chef/Owners Patrick and Jenny are Fulfilling Foody Fantasies and bringing back “Gastronomics” = The Art of Good Eating.”
“Fashioned after the widely popular coffee café restaurants of Melbourne, The Collins Quarter brings a taste of Australia and the Pacific Rim to Savannah.”
I’ve been to Collins Quarter twice now, and I’ve loved each visit. This is for sure on my list of Must Visit Places in Savannah.
“Chef Greg Garrisons menu features modern takes on classic Southern dishes, sourcing the best products from local farms and purveyors. Dishes include items like Warm Oyster Brunswick with house bacon, fire roasted tomatoes and field peas; Sweet Potato Gnocchi with warm farm egg, toasted seeds, okra oil; and “Trotter Tots” with pork jus and nutritional yeast.”
The Savannah extension of Charleston favorite, Husk, is brand new. I would recommend making a reservation asap!
Of course, while there’s many many more places you can go through this handy app- there’s plenty of places NOT on OpenTable in Savannah that we love. One that comes to mind that I really enjoyed was Hitch.
One that I had reservations for, and I think it was through OpenTable at the time, but my boyfriend begged that we cancel them due to being tired from my dragging him around is The Grey.
I might just have to take a day trip to Savannah simply to check them out.
What’s your favorite spots in Savannah?
Love to all y’all,
Molly
