Do Us a Flavor? VOTE FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!

Look, it’s no surprise that since we’re a Georgia-based website we’re going to ask you to vote for Fried Green Tomatoes anything.

But this is a special appeal.

My high school friend Greg Pope and his wife already have this kick-ass line of handbags: Gregory Sylvia.

But now Greg is in the Final 3 for the Lays Do Us A Flavor contest!! He entered his idea, the Fried Green Tomatoes potato chips, and now he needs our votes!

The tale behind the taste: A Charlotte man has made the FINAL THREE in Lay’s new flavor competition with his idea of Fried Green Tomatoes. If his flavor wins, he gets one million dollars! http://on.wcnc.com/2eIxBzo

If he wins- he will get one million dollars!

From WCNC:

“A Queen City man is a finalist in the running to win a million dollars with his flavor idea for Lay’s newest potato chip.

Gregory Pope’s fried green tomatoes flavor submission goes deeper than it’s crispy, delicious exterior as it encompasses the idea of a perfect southern staple topped with family tradition.

‘My granddad, he would grow a garden in his backyard. He wasn’t a man of many words but when we would go over there he would take us out back and just light up,’ Pope said. ‘He would talk more, showing us his garden, showing us some of the things he was growing in his garden.'”

So look, here’s how to vote:
