Southern Traditions: Summer Dressing

Oh…. summertime and the living is easy, as long as you know how to dress for it!

These sweltering temperatures are enough to make anyone miserable, and as I prepare to pack for yet another journey down the road I have to keep the hot weather in mind as I pack. Luckily for me, and for y’all, I know exactly where to go for such easy dressing.

Escapada Living is one of my very favorite brands for summer time, and always has been.

Still a favorite outfit! I grabbed a few of their items just the other day at Karats and Keepsakes Boutique in Macon, Georgia.

This shirt, seen below on one of the Karats models, is my absolute new fav. Classic enough to wear to work but light enough for any sweltering day! I’m pairing it with some equally lightweight cute shorts for the beach this week:

And… shh! The shorts were on sale!

I’m also apparently obsessed with white tops these days because I cannot get enough of the Lilla P tank I got from Rumor, which I’ve already written about here.

I’ve literally gotten bike grease on it, some kind of food sauce, and it even started to turn a slight blue on part of it from sitting in the laundry hamper too long with a black tank.

But I’ve been able to spray stain wash on it, let it sit, soak in detergent and EVERYTHING HAS COME OUT! It’s basically every mom’s, and accident prone, person’s best friend for a white tank.

Another obsession? Floral print rompers. See two examples here of my loves:

This one is from Rumor.

This one I just ordered from Dani Rae & Co.

Love to all y’all,
